Emory Cares with Atlanta Young Alumni at the Atlanta Community Food Bank
Join the Atlanta Young Alumni Network for a meaningful day of service at the Atlanta Community Food Bank! Together, we’ll give back by helping organize and sort donated food while supporting the Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger across our community. In addition to volunteering, attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations to contribute to the Food Bank’s efforts.
Whether you’re looking to reconnect with fellow Emory alumni, meet new friends, or make a tangible impact, this is a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside your Emory community. We hope you’ll join us as we come together to make a difference—one act of service at a time.

Emory Homecoming 5K
Join us for the Emory Homecoming 5K, a scenic walk/run that brings together alumni, students, faculty, staff, family members, and friends for a fun and active Homecoming tradition.
The race begins and ends at the Student Activity & Academic Center (SAAC) on Emory's Clairmont Campus and takes participants through the beautiful trails and natural landscapes of Lullwater Preserve.
Whether you're a seasoned runner looking to set a personal best or simply want to enjoy a leisurely walk with family and friends, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with the Emory community while experiencing one of the university's most picturesque settings. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join us as we celebrate Homecoming, wellness, and school spirit together.
$10 Early registration is from August 26th through September 30th. $15 Late registration is from October 1st through Race Day.

Planetarium Tours
The planetarium, one of the key features of Emory's Mathematics and Science Center, is a 56-seat classroom space designed for teaching undergraduate astronomy and hosting events and seasonal programs that explore and celebrate the cosmos.
When the house lights go down, it's a place to sit back in comfortable chairs, relax, gaze up and imagine that the 30-foot domed ceiling above really is filled with countless stars as it appears to be. In collaboration with the Department of Physics, we invite you to enjoy a free, 20-minute Planetarium show!
Shows will take place at 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30 a.m. Please register for the show you'd like to attend and plan to arrive at least ten minutes prior to show time. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Kappa Alpha Order Brunch and Homecoming Party
KA invites all alumni, parents, and their families to stop by for brunch and a photo at noon before the parade. And if you get tired from all of the various events across campus, come back to KA to relax and hang out all afternoon. We'll have the big screen TV on for football and light bites. We may try and schedule a band or DJ. And we plan to have a bartender (either cash bar or BYOB per Emory policy). More details to follow.

Dooley Noted 20th Anniversary Reunion Concert
Join us as we celebrate 20 years of Dooley Noted during Emory University's Homecoming Weekend with a reunion eras concert, featuring alumni performers from across the group's 20-year history!
Founded in 2006 and chartered in 2007 as Emory’s service-oriented a cappella group, Dooley Noted has represented the voices of Emory students from all walks of life who share a love of singing and a desire to give back. Whether performing at Emory’s beloved First-Friday concerts on the former DUC terrace/now ESC steps and Barenaked Voices (IYKYK!) or competing at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Dooley Noted has allowed students from all academic disciplines to celebrate music and grow their vocal talents together. Even though the group has a vast repertoire, including Folk, Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz and more, after 20 years, they still end every concert by inviting alumni on stage to sing the most enduring song, “Your Smiling Face” by James Taylor.

Join us for a relaxed and casual gathering at Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal, located right along the Beltline (directly across from the Kroger). After exploring a few options, we decided to keep things simple and social with an informal meetup—no tickets required! This format gives everyone the flexibility to drop by when they can, stay as long as they like, and enjoy the evening at their own pace. Expect great drinks, a vibrant atmosphere, and hopefully some beautiful weather to enjoy along the Beltline. And we are planning to take a photo of the class at 6 pm. Emory Beloved Community is a weekly ecumenical Protestant worship service planned for the campus community that gathers Sundays at 11:00 a.m. during the academic year in Cannon Chapel.
We look forward to our annual Homecoming and Family Weekend Service on Sunday, October 25 at 11:00 am in Emory’s Cannon Chapel. Our preacher will be Emory alumnus The Rev. Adam Russell Taylor 98C, president of Sojourners, a prominent Christian justice organization and magazine based in Washington, D.C.
