Tacos and Tunes: A night of carnitas tacos, Latin music, and great vibes! 

Inspired by one of my favorite books, "Booze & Vinyl," which pairs cocktails with classic records, this dinner pairs food with the music of my favorite band, Making Movies. 

A rock band based in Kansas City whose members are from Panamá, México, and Kansas, Making Movies smashes together American Rock 'n Roll and Latin music to create something unique and delicious. I, your host, will attempt to smash slow-cooker carnitas together with pickled red onions, cilantro, and cotija cheese to create something unique and delicious as well. 

About your host:

I'm a local hip-hop artist and got to know Making Movies when I toured with them in 2021 and 2022. We spent a couple weeks in México and Panamá, and I absolutely loved the food and music there. Since I love to cook, I figured I would share a bit of my adventure with you!
