Emory Commencement Weekend 2026

Emory Commencement Weekend 2026

Emory Commencement Weekend celebrates student achievement and entry into the world of Emory alumni. Join us as we welcome the newest graduating class.

Don't miss beloved graduation traditions like Class Day Crossover, including a special reception for Emory alumni and community members to welcome our senior class into the Emory Alumni Association:

Who is invited? The reception is open to alumni and members of the Emory community including faculty and staff.

What can I expect at the event? Guests can expect an exclusive and festive alumni and community reception on the Quadrangle, featuring light refreshments, live music, and opportunities to connect with alumni, faculty, and staff. The event also includes participation in the Candlelight Crossover processional, which formally welcomes graduating seniors as they transition into Emory alumni.

What should I wear? There is no official dress code. Many guests choose casual or smart-casual attire, and you are welcome to wear your favorite Emory apparel. Since the event will take place on grass, low-heeled shoes are recommended.

Is parking available? Parking for the Crossover Community Reception on the Quad is available at the Oxford Parking Deck. A ticket must be taken upon entry, but fees will not be charged for guests entering after 5:00 p.m. Overflow is available at Fishburne Parking Deck.

Where do I check-in? Check-in is located on the Quadrangle in front of the Carlos Museum (near the flagpole). Want to breeze through check-in even faster? Be sure to pre-register so your nametag is printed and ready for your arrival.
