Senior Wonderful Wednesday (December 2018 and May 2019 graduating students only)
A beloved Emory tradition, Wonderful Wednesday brings students together weekly to foster a sense of community in a fun, interactive setting in the middle of campus. The last Wonderful Wednesday of the year is hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement and Senior Experience Committee (SEC) exclusively for the undergraduate senior class - a final hoorah and celebration for our soon-to-be new grads and their journey ahead.

Oxford Continuee Reception
The Oxford College Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement invite Oxford Continuees in their Junior and Senior years to a reception in honor of the seniors graduating in the Emory class of 2019. Join your classmates as well as some faculty and staff from Oxford, who'll be cheering you on as you transition to alumni status.

School of Nursing Candlelight Crossover Dinner
Alumni, faculty and staff are invited by the Nurses’ Alumni Association for a private dinner prior to Emory’s traditional Candlelight Crossover. Following dinner, we will gather for a group photo and walk together from the School of Nursing to Miller-Ward Alumni House where we will hold candles and welcome the 2019 nursing graduates to the alumni community as they walk across the Houston Mill Road bridge with President Sterk and their fellow graduates from across the university.
This is a 10 minute walk from the School of Nursing to Miller-Ward Alumni House, .3 mi each direction.

Candlelight Crossover Alumni Reception
Every year, graduating seniors commemorate their transition to alumni life with a candlelight procession. Emory alumni are invited to a reception at the Miller-Ward Alumni House prior to the Crossover procession to honor these newest graduates.
The pre-Crossover reception will start at 7:00 p.m. The student Crossover will begin around 8:30 p.m., when reception guests will line up to welcome them as they cross the bridge to the alumni house.
Complimentary refreshments and beverages, including beer and wine, will be provided at the reception.

100 Senior Honorary Tea
The 2019 100 Senior Honorary inductees and immediate family members are invited to a Commencement Tea celebrating this special recognition for their graduate. Enjoy light refreshments and brief remarks from a student speaker.

Candler Singers Concert
Come enjoy the Candler Singers in concert as they kick off Candler's Commencement Weekend! The Candler Singers, Candler School of Theology's premier musical ensemble comprised of students preparing for a variety of ministries in the church, the academy, and the world, present a concert of church music from around the globe, featuring classical, contemporary, folk, and spiritual genres. The Singers are directed by David B. Daniel, Assistant Professor in the Practice of Music Ministry and Director of Chapel Music.
The concert is free and open to the public.

Some of Emory’s finest musical alumni return to campus to perform along with one of our most accomplished graduating seniors during Commencement weekend in this exciting annual concert. Hosted by Bradley Howard, Director of Vocal Studies.

Corpus Cordis Aureum Induction Ceremony and "Jake's" Golden Heart Award Presentation
Members from the Class of 1969 will be inducted into Corpus Cordis Aureum (CCA). Earlier classes can also be inducted if not previously. All returning members are welcome to participate. Presentation of the Judson C. Ward “Jake’s” Golden Heart Award will be included in the ceremony.

Corpus Cordis Aureum Breakfast, Robing, and Processional
Golden robes and caps will be distributed. Light breakfast will be available for alumni and their guests. Individual and group photos will be taken. Guest seating will be reserved near Corpus Cordis Aureum (CCA) participants on the Quad. CCA member procession begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Candler School of Theology Commencement Brunch
Candler graduates, their families, and friends, along with Candler faculty and staff are invited to brunch immediately after the Commencement Exercises on the Quadrangle.
Registration is not required, but is greatly appreciated for an accurate catering count or ADA accommodation.
Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony & Reception
Corpus Cordis Aureum members will process with the dean, faculty and students in the School of Nursing Diploma Ceremony. Faculty, staff, guests, and Corpus Cordis Aureum members are invited to join the new graduates for a reception in their honor immediately after graduation back at the School of Nursing building.
Candler School of Theology Diploma Ceremony
Candler School of Theology graduates and their families gather for the 2019 Diploma Ceremony in the sanctuary of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on the Emory campus. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for attendees. Graduates line up on the Glenn lawn (North Decatur Road side) at 1:00 p.m.
